Where that chapter contradicts itself or leaves a cell unsettled — and it does, in a handful of places — the sheet says so on the kuta instead of presenting the total as firm.

What it does not do
- It does not tell you whether to marry. It reports what the tradition weighs and where it disagrees with itself; the decision is not arithmetic and the sheet does not pretend otherwise.
- A low score is not a verdict. The texts themselves list cancellations, and the sheet shows them — a number read without its caveats is worse than no number.
- It does not reproduce the chapter's language about death, longevity or defective children, which this engine refuses to state anywhere.
- Ashtakoota is built for marriage. It measures temperament, affinity and household compatibility — it is not a test of a business partnership or a friendship.
